Vehicle impoundment
Vehicle impoundment
When a police officer intercepts a driver for a traffic violation, he or she may impound the driver’s vehicle for 7, 30 or 90 days. This can occur in the case of an arrest for drinking and driving, for speeding or for driving with a suspended licence, for instance.
Whatever the case may be, you have rights of recourse.
In some cases, the SAAQ authorizes the release of the vehicle. Warning: Release applications can be submitted only once. Therefore, it is important to be well prepared!
Jonathan Boivin has the expertise needed to draft the procedures in order to maximize your chances of retrieving your vehicle as quickly as possible. There is no room for improvisation when it comes to handling your case!
